- In 390 patients with stage I to III hormone receptor-positive/HER2- breast tumors, a higher number of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) subtypes, regardless of whether they were immunostimulatory or immunosuppressive, including regulatory T cells and CD8 and non-CD8 T cells, are associated with improved distant disease-free survival and overall survival at 8 years follow-up.
