Abstract
The fabrication of phantoms, jigs and dosimeter augmentations is a key area where 3D printing can provide substantial cost-efficiencies for radiation therapy centres. This chapter provides guidance regarding the design and use of 3D printed treatment verification devices such as jigs, attachments and accessories for existing dosimetry systems as well as simple geometric phantoms and sophisticated patient-specific anthropomorphic phantoms for verifying specific treatments or investigating new radiation treatment techniques.
